This change begins the transition from MNE to
struct.unpackby implementing the basic metadata returned duringrdsamp. Works still needs to be done to finish this transition and retrieve the correct signal data but hopefully this will be finished shortly. I expect significant performance gains as well..0.006327152252197266as compared to0.3232297897338867for a 46 second EDF file only reading the metadata.
