I was having trouble figuring out what Visual Studio error C3779 meant until I found this blog post by Raymond Chen: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/oldnewthing/20190530-00/?p=102529. It was basically the only source I could find that succinctly described what the error means and how to fix it. I was able to quickly resolve my issues afterwards. I think that other developers would come across this docs page first to figure out C3779, so I think it would be very helpful to link this blog post.

@alicwu
Thanks for contributing. That's an interesting and useful blog post, and I admire your creative intentions in linking to it. It doesn't match our standard behavior, though, so just for you, and developers like you, I've created Compiler Error C3779. The link isn't live yet, and won't be until it's published Thursday or Friday, but it should capture the gist of Ray's blog post, and includes a link to it. Look for it soon.
