When I type, my cursor moves but I can't see the text I'm inputting. If I try to copy my input, the whole line gets selected and nothing gets copied. I am running OS X 10.12, this happens with bpython 0.17 and the latest master branch alike, in both iTerm and Terminal. Commands execute correctly and the output is visible. As a side note, bpython 0.16 which gets installed automatically by pip still suffers from issue #687.

Is this not a problem on 0.16? Do you still have this issue with the newest bpython, 0.17.1?

A screenshot of this might be helpful.

I upgraded to 0.17.1 to try this again. Now I do see the text I'm typing but my cursor seems to be too far ahead by 2 characters: https://asciinema.org/a/rqqPjV2AtuQu9N48RkuxVnfxw

Same results on on iTerm and Terminal, with and without config file.
