Right now, the component(s) do not have any testing whatsoever. They feel decently solid, but we won't have peace of mind until we have something that can more authoritatively assert that.

We also want to make sure that they're part of our publishing CI/CD process, so that if any test cases fail, that does block any new package versions from being published.

Tasks

• Add unit tests for all sub-components (each one has at least one little behavior that you'd want to test by itself)
• Test core functionality with a single integration test (in progress)
