a customer reported the below:

Auto-stop timer doesn’t seem to refresh with activity, but indicates the time it looks to see if there’s recent activity. I had started my workspace at 11:23AM, and over the course of time, I saw the “Stops” time remain at 2:32PM.

I was nervous because I expected auto-stop to only kick in 3 hours after me actively using the workspace. As 2:32 approached, it seems that the time refreshed and it keeps delaying the auto-stop an hour at a time.

I think that behavior is fine, but as an end user / those who support the platform- it doesn’t seem like a great user experience. Possibly rephrase “Stop” label or have an info icon that explains that the workspace will only stop if no recent activity has happened by that time.

we have in-progress work related to the autostop timer here: #11987

also related: #11710
