spike@Codebook do-linux % coder start ice-hocky
> Confirm start workspace? (yes/no) yes
GET https://fervent-sutherland7.try.coder.app/api/v2/users/me/workspace/ice-hocky: unexpected status code 403: Forbidden
Run 'coder start --help' for usage.

This workspace doesn't exist and should be 404. Obviously, I shouldn't be Forbidden from doing things to my own workspaces.

coder --version
Coder v0.6.2-devel+a860b862 Mon Jun 6 19:43:16 UTC 2022
https://github.com/coder/coder/commit/a860b86256293ab11d92eae3b10994f9b06c4436

Edited: Originally thought this was happening to an existing workspace, but it turns out I was using the template name, not the workspace name.
