I'm adding this to the GA milestone since we added "promote to default." If we remove that, we can remove this.

After I choose not to "promote to default," I have no idea how to see which version is default or how to promote a version after the fact. We also don't have the version selector so there's not a huge point having the option to promote a "non-default" version
