Fully restore and cleanup the test suite
I cherry-picked some of @nicolasiensen's commits over and fixed any outstanding broekn specs from where he left his branch: https://github.com/nicolasiensen/coderwall/tree/bounties/464
I thought we were closer to get badges updating again, but this PR will not fix out problems, but enabling more specs is a goof thing
