The blink documentation is incorrect. It seems like this PR #2293 was mistakenly merged despite my associated PR home-assistant/core#6696 (which added the force_update function among other changes) was closed and not merged.

The documentation should be reverted to their pre-merge state to accurately reflect how the component operates.
