The Google Assistant docs have a troubleshooting section. This is great!

However, trying to add the Home Assistant to Google Home can lead to errors ("Home Assistant is not reachable" when it clearly is, as the login page shows up), especially for Cloudflare users, that proxy their traffic, as discussed multiple times in the HA community (e.g. here and here.

My proposition is to add the one possible solution, that seems to help most people, to the troubleshooting section. I would write the section myself if that is actually possible.
The solution btw is disabling Cloudflare's Bot Fight Mode or add the Google ASN (AS15169) to the WAF Allowlist, as discussed here.
