Proposed change

This improves the structure a bit to match the QOS rules. It also removes mentions of "Sixth sense" since that does not seem to be the name used for US connected models.

I am considering restructuring how the supported functionality is presented, but I'll leave that for a future PR.

Type of change

  • Spelling, grammar or other readability improvements (current branch).
  • Adjusted missing or incorrect information in the current documentation (current branch).
  • Added documentation for a new integration I'm adding to Home Assistant (next branch).
  • Added documentation for a new feature I'm adding to Home Assistant (next branch).
  • Removed stale or deprecated documentation.

📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

The documentation for the Whirlpool integration has been restructured for improved clarity and organization. The introduction now indicates that the integration connects Whirlpool and Maytag appliances to Home Assistant, rather than referencing the 6th Sense Live application. Section headers have been updated (e.g., replacing "Supported hardware" with "Supported devices" and "Sensor" with "Supported functionality"), device types have been renamed, and new sections for prerequisites, sensor details, and removal instructions have been added. Minor typographical fixes have also been applied.

Changes

File Change Summary
source/_integrations/whirlpool.markdown - Updated introduction to reference Whirlpool and Maytag appliances instead of the 6th Sense Live application.
- Replaced "Supported hardware" with "Supported devices".
- Renamed device types: "Climate" to "Air conditioners", "Washer" to "Washers", and "Dryer" to "Dryers".
- Added new sections: "Prerequisites", a revised "Sensor" section (including supported functionality details), and "Removing the integration".
- Corrected typographical errors and restructured content for clarity.
