As with all 1.x releases of DataTables, backwards compatibility is a key aim of the upgrade.

This module should still work with version 1.10.

Really? Datatables v1.10 looks like it breaks changes from 1.9.x, and the server lib I use still won't work with the new JSON params.
A nice first step, is to update bower.json to use the latest dependencies, like angular:~1.2.20, and jquery:>=1.11.0, <2.3.0, which I hope are more compatible,

I use the newest version (DataTables v1.10.1 and jQuery 1.11.0) in my examples and there are no problems. If you find some issues, please let me know.
You are right about updating bower.json. Not sure about the minimal version of Angular. I think I'll stick with >=1.2.6.
