Fix two undefined names #10938
Conversation
The bug is in tools/boilerplate.py (in the cmappable dict); do you mind editing it there as well? Thanks! |
A more permanent fix to the undefined name issue.
Thanks for this. I would like to add python3 -m flake8 . --count --select=E9,F821,F822,F823 --show-source --statistics to the matplotlib testing so that we do not have any backsliding on undefined names (F821 and F822) that other linters do not seem to cover. In which file would you advise that I try adding that test? |
As discussed at matplotlib#10938 (comment) _undefined names_ have [occurred often in the past](https://github.com/matplotlib/matplotlib/pulls?q=is%3Apr+author%3Acclauss+is%3Aclosed) and this change would help to avoid recurrence in the future.
