This is another PR in a series (#1888, #1890, #1903, #1904, #1916, #1917, #1918, #1919, #1920, #1921 ) of PR to support the STM32L4 series in micropython. (see http://forum.micropython.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1332&sid=64e2f63af49643c3edee159171f4a365)
The old way to describe a flash had no meaning with the flash on the 2tm32l476xg which has 512 Sectors of 2048 Bytes. In the old structure this would have introduced a
flash_info_table
with 512 entries, which I thought is not good. To guarantee the correct function of the reengineeredflash_get_sector_info
function I wrote a little unit test. This can be obtained from my repo in thestm32l476discovery_integration
branch in stmhal/tests.This PR is independent of earlier PR.
