This PR updates the docstrings for
pandas.date_range
andpandas.timedelta_range
as reported in issue #62161. The previous note was ambiguous / misleading. This change updates the documentation to explain that:A maximum of three of (
start
,end
,periods
,freq
) can be provided.At least two of (

,periods
