Ping me on discord (sdb9696) and I can try to help. I think we just need to work out a switch for the chime. |

So, I just discovered I could add my doorbell (Tapo TD25) and my chime (Tapo D100C) to the HA "TP-Link Smart Home" integration!!
I believe the TD25 is a Best Buy exclusive (which is where I purchased the doorbell), and it's sister model is the Tapo D225.
I want to be able to write an automation that works like "When the fan is turned on in my kid's room, turn off the chimes" and "When the fan is turned off, turn ON the chimes".
In other words, I don't want the chimes to ring inside the house while my kid is asleep. My dog barks non-stop when the doorbell is rang, I don't want my kid to wake up.
I've come to discover that I'm a novice when it comes to troubleshooting anything having to do with HA, communications, logging, Linux, command line, etc. I'll do anything I can to help because I really want these entities exposed.
