Right now, the master branch is broken on Travis. This makes it very very hard to review the (long!) queue of changes waiting to make it into the repo.

We should fix this. Here is an example of the failure (possibly happening because of a newer git version or Travis, or because of flakiness in how the tests are made - I have really not looked at this at any length yet): https://travis-ci.org/ruby-git/ruby-git/jobs/327112697
