Hi all,
In an effort to ensure the version of Ruby2JS you're using has the features you expect, regardless of if you're using the Ruby compiler or the Node compiler, I've aligned the gem/package versions in the v5.0 release. So gem 5.0.0 and NPM package 5.0.0 will have the same features, and any further versions (say, 5.1.2) will continue the alignment.
So if you're wondering why the
@ruby2js/ruby2js
NPM package version suddenly went from0.2.1
to5.0.0
, that's why. 😄I've also improved the tooling around releasing the gem and package simultaneously, so I'm hoping this will result in much more frequent releases going forward. Let me know if you have any questions! -J
