The goal is to avoid aggressively casting input data to
np.float64
whennp.float32
is supplied to thefit()
method ofSGDClassifier
. A unit test is added toDenseSGDClassifierTestCase
to check whether the dtype of the output offit()
is consistent with the input.Any other comments?
