New features, refactorings, and bug fixes

This release has several breaking changes. For those migrating from v0.0.96 and earlier, you are advised to explicitly confirm whether your API usage is still supported. For most use cases, everything should work the same; however, for some APIs, we've moved packages, reorganized implementations, and refactored existing implementations to adopt new API signatures (e.g., complex number APIs).
