There are certain of the more prominent bundles which make use of a custom routing loader, eg SonataAdminBundle.

There should be some documentation describing the nature of a custom routing loader, how it works, how to write one, how to tell the router to use it, etc.

This is partially covered in dic_tags, but probably deserves its own cookbook article, which we would then link to.

I wonder if @matthiasnoback would be willing to adapt this to a cookbook entry?

That's a good idea! My post about adding routes dynamically is one of the most popular posts on my blog, so I think it would be good to have this information in the cookbook. I will rewrite it, but this could take a few weeks.

Hi Wouter, no update yet. Though it is on my TODO list.
