Why would we recommend something that is fundamentally flawed (installing a library globally on a computer) and not really maintained anymore? |

what kind of traffic numbers do we have on the pear installer? |

I don't have any traffic numbers as the PEAR channel is hosted on Amazon S3 and I have not enabled logging. But I can make a quick poll to figure that out. |
