Our Custom Rules > Typed Rules section explicitly indicates readers should be familiar with TypeScript's type checker APIs:
Read TypeScript's Compiler APIs > Using the Type Checker section for how to use a program's type checker.
That linked wiki page is the best first party resource I could find on using TypeScript's type checker APIs. Which is unfortunate because it's a heading halfway through a long deep dive into various uses of compiler APIs that doesn't actually explain type checking. It's not quite the kinds of docs we'd want for introducing folks to the type checking APIs.
Is there a more introductory docs page we can link to? If not, can we work with the TypeScript folks to help make one?
