What?

Delete /** @type {import('tailwindcss').Config} */ line at postcss.config.mjs in css and tailwind.css docs.

Why?

/** @type {import('tailwindcss').Config} */ is tailwind.config.mjs type.

// tailwind.config.mjs

/** @type {import('tailwindcss').Config} */
module.exports = {
  content: [
    './pages/**/*.{js,ts,jsx,tsx}',
    './components/**/*.{js,ts,jsx,tsx}',
    './app/**/*.{js,ts,jsx,tsx}',
  ],
  theme: {
    extend: {
      fontFamily: {
        sans: ['var(--font-inter)'],
        mono: ['var(--font-roboto-mono)'],
      },
    },
  },
  plugins: [],
}

The appropriate type is /** @type {import('postcss-load-config').Config} */.

// postcss.config.mjs

/** @type {import('postcss-load-config').Config} */
export default {
  plugins: {
    '@tailwindcss/postcss': {},
  },
}

Next, why delete /** @type {import('postcss-load-config').Config} */?

Because create-next-app package removed the the types for postcss at #75407.

Note: Removed the types for postcss added at #63380 since it requires additional postcss-load-config dependency.

How?

Adopt create-next-app template's postcss.config.mjs.

export default {
  plugins: {
    '@tailwindcss/postcss': {},
  },
}
