AFAIK the space before the colon is a french pecularity and isn't used anywhere else.
Not only the IPython Notebook needs a Win > XP, but also zmq, needed by Spyder etc. See the wiki.

I also have changes pending and not merged yet, I will resolve the conflicts after your PR has been merged.

We forgot to add "Windows 2003 server" to the bad news.
Do you think some users install Winpython on it ?

No, but we can put it into the wiki to the list of unsupported OS. But we should probably then add a list of perfectly supported OS too :)

Windows 2003 Server official death is next April, but the bigger issue there was the browser, so I guess we had no possible Ipython user on Windows 2003

ok, new build without TortoiseHG installs correctly, I'll upload it tomorrow and then we should prepare the removal of the tortoiseHG icon from the webpage.
