Holiness is always like this: God’s endurance in the middle of our refusal of him, his capacity to meet every refusal with a gift of himself.

the darkness & the light to Thee are both alike.

logging off for lent! see y’all potentially on Sundays and most likely just for Easter :)
love hearing about people’s lenten disciplines… fasting cycle is such a gift of the church
what are you doing for lent? i’m struggling with finding a way to restrict myself in a healthy way, but i’ve also heard of people adding things rather than restricting themselves (such as making sure they pray every day), which is also an option.
Taking the funniest possible path back to reading Aquinas (les miserables book club)
if you’re interested in a lent daily devotional btw i cannot recommend the daily office and/or VENITE enough…. Download the VENITE app pray the daily office it’s so good. it’s like actually so good no joke

I like to think (and
the sooner the better!)
of a cybernetic meadow
where mammals and computers
live together in mutually
programming harmony
like pure water
touching clear sky.
I like to think
(right now, please!)
of a cybernetic forest
filled with pines and electronics
where deer stroll peacefully
past computers
as if they were flowers
with spinning blossoms.
I like to think
(it has to be!)
of a cybernetic ecology
where we are free of our labors
and joined back to nature,
returned to our mammal
brothers and sisters,
and all watched over
by machines of loving grace.
Tentative plan for Lent is to try and do a little written reflection on the daily office each day… obviously not anything #official but I do appreciate getting to reflect out loud on here and i need sth to keep me accountable to really working with the D.O. this Lent <3
