As the evening wears on, they fall into an easy rhythm, sharing laughter and inside jokes. Max watches quietly, the ache in his chest growing sharper every time their knees brush together or their smiles linger. He hides it well behind a carefully blank expression, fingers gripping tightly around his pint. Eventually, Carlos stretches and stands, clapping his hands together. “One last drink at ours?”
Charles immediately looks up, his eyes bright. “Sounds like a plan.”
Max feels his stomach twist uncomfortably but remains silent as the others stand to follow.
I don't think I've ever seen so many people happy for someone else to win. Carlos, Max, Charles, Daniel, Fernando, and George all hurried up to him to congratulate him, and those were only the ones we saw. Personnel from other teams were walking over each other to high-five or fist-bump him. People working on the track looked at him with the biggest smiles and I don't know when was the last time we got this much chanting for a winner.
Lando Norris is beloved by all who know him and spend time with him, and I will never again take anyone on social media seriously who has a bad word to say about him

3. Tell me about one of your fics you think is underrated/underappreciated
This is a difficult one to answers, I feel like most of my fics get the appropriate amount of attention. Most get like 20 - 50 kudos which means they’re pretty shit, two or three have 100+ and that’s pretty cool. But one that I’m really proud of, but doesn’t seem to resonate with readers is first impressions, my pride & prejudice carlando au 🥰
4. Longest period of time it’s taken you to write one fic?
I have multiple WIPs that I’ve been writing for years, I started the oldest one back in Nov 2021 😭
22. Do you reply to comments?
Not as often as I should! I always tell myself that I’m gonna reply to comments as soon as I see them, but I almost never do 😞
28. Have you ever made friends with people through your writing?
Through my writing? I don’t think so no, but I’ve made friends through fandom ☺️

i still have full faith in lando! he’s the only driver with four podiums and is leading the championship while dragging that car through every corner like it owes him money. if anyone can hold it together, it’s him 🥰
Anyways this blog is a safe space for any Lando fans and rest assured I'll be supporting him this season unless he becomes like an actual cold blooded murderer

why do you want us to feel sympathy for lando. He did not feel sympathy for Daniel. I hope you see tour own double standard
When did Lando, or even Daniel for that matter, ask for anyone’s “sympathy?”
The funniest part about this ask is despite the team principal admitting they gave Piastri everything he wanted in a car and Lando everything he didn’t want in a car to finally bring Piastri up to speed for the first time in his F1 career, Lando Norris probably just spent the past weekend hating himself for his own performance (which was pretty damn good given the circumstances around the car we’re now privy to) more than you ever could. So, I don’t think you’ll have to worry about him ever wanting sympathy from you or anyone else.
I’m also not getting lectured on double standards from someone who got upset about Lando telling a reporter he didn’t have sympathy for a competitor who never once asked for his sympathy when you probably called Oscar’s whole post-quali swipe at Lando about how he’d rather lack results but have pace than get results and struggle with pace “cunty.” As long as someone isn’t actively dying on the track, quite literally NONE of these people feel sympathy for their rivals.
(un)friendly reminder that daniel also didn’t feel sympathy for hulkenberg when they were teammates. they’re in f1, elite of the elite (supposedly). if another driver would express sympathy towards any of them they’d spontaneously combust. their ego couldn’t handle it.
