Benefits of feeding soaked feed is:

➡️Expands feed which will make it last longer and save of feed costs
➡️Increases water intake

My chickens go crazy for their wet feed and it most certainly makes the feed last longer. I’ll never go back to feeding dry, soaked feed has too many benefits.

A couple tips to consider when soaking your feed:
🐓It is better to feed soaked feed either on the ground or in open feed pans. If you try to use one of the many different styles of chicken feeders out there you’ll just end up with a messy feeder.
