Kardea Brown on Instagram: "This ham & cheese croissant casserole will be on my mind for a while 😫 I recently saw someone make this on IG and I just knew we were going to have it for Sunday brunch today 😌…… I used day old mini croissants that I sliced in half then soaked in a savory custard using 8 eggs, 1 cup heavy cream, diced shallots, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper and Dijon mustard. I let that soak while I made my brown sugar baked ham. Once the ham was done I added a few slices with some left over hand shredded Gruyere, parm and white cheddar cheese. I poured some garlic butter on top and baked it uncovered at 350 for 55 mins. Laaaaaawd have mercy this was DELICIOUS 🤤!!!!!!
