I know a place

If you look up the weirdest fears people have, you might be surprised to find that people can be scared of anything ranging from their own body parts to normal everyday things. Most people have rational fears like being bitten by a dog or getting hit by a car, as they are very possible. However, as much as humans like to think they are intelligent and very logical, we have many traits that are irrational.

I stare at this image a lot. I ask myself how . . . and why . . . and feel so helpless in making a difference. I know a lot of people care. I know a lot more people are living at the door's edge a paycheck away from homelessness on the streets. And that's a scary place to be. It's a scene each and everyone of us could end up in given a wrong set of circumstances or decisions.

Summer and winter are, hands down, the most popular seasons for traveling. While summer promises sunny weather, winter getaways lure people into running away from the cold into a tropical setting, which, in some of the most beautiful islands in the world, lasts all year round.
