We bought a 1920s house that sadly was devoid of many of the original features it would have had. We have been on a mission ever since to return some of those features back to the house.No longer having chimney breasts or chimneys, a log burner was the easiest way for us. However, we wanted a traditional looking fireplace. We decided to create a fake chimney breast to create the look. It’s no secret I have missed the logburners in our old house, but with a false chimney in this house that we don’t think can be converted, I thought cosy fireside vibes were going to stay a dream for this house! 

I had seen bioethanol burners before, but the ones I’d come across felt a bit light and not quite true to that real logburner feel, that is until I found @stoveworlduk on a late night Google! They’re known for their actual logburners, but have converted a couple of their styles into a bioethanol versions and I love how authentic they are!
