Having a period is a normal, healthy and natural part of a woman’s life. Occurring monthly for about 40 years for most women with the average woman having over 400 periods in her lifetime. Yet, as normal as it is, Menstruation is stigmatized around the world. It is seen as unclean, dirty, a joke, and so much more. This campaign calls out the stigma (names) tagged around periods.
