Today's plant marvel is this massive Platycerium grande aka Moosehorn Fern. The large bright green shield fronds set this species apart from its Staghorn Fern siblings. Amazingly even though the shields resemble antlers the true showstopper on this plant has yet to arrive; the fertile (antler) fronds that eventually emerge from the center of these epiphytes is stunning to behold.
