Sometimes you get a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see a rare piece of jewellery. My chance came recently with the arrival of the Tiffany Diamond. One of the largest and finest fancy yellow diamonds in the world, the Tiffany Diamond was discovered in a diamond mine in South Africa in 1877.

Tiffany artisans beautifully crafted this coral pendant and ring by harnessing Jean Schlumberger's unbridled ability to evoke movement with still forms. A cushion-cut Fancy Intense Yellow diamond of over 10 carats glows from within a platinum and 18k gold pendant encrusted with over 870 round brilliant diamonds, while a Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond of over 5 carats sits at the center of the ring.
