Oh look! Yet another fucking douchebag who thinks other people have to listen to them! Honestly, it's insane that you even thought this and then SAT DOWN TO TYPE IT OUT. Did you ever stop to think that maybe there are people on this website with their own trauma to worry about? Who quite literally can't see this stuff for fear of their own mental health? Oh, have you ever stopped to think that there are CHILDREN on this website, who maybe... don't want to see women, men, children--all dead on their dash? Yeah. Cuz these people fucking exist. In fact, I was one of them. Im 16 years old and I love being informed, but for me, having the image of a dead person (either palestinian OR israeli) ingrained into my mind was where it crossed the line for me.

And you know what? Because of people like you. Inconsiderate asshats who think they have the privelege to order around people and not give a single shred of warning before shoving dead babies in their face. Now I, a student in high school, have to live with the image of dead people in my mind. It doesn't matter what my beliefs are. It doesn't matter at all. There's no reason to justify shoving all of these greusome videos down the throats of people who have their own lives to worry about, their own mental health to worry about. Because in the end, it doesnt make me anymore empathatic to the cause than I already was. I felt enough reading about it. There was no need for any of y'all to purposefully exclude content warnings. There was no need for me to be scrolling on my dash and stop at a post thinking "is that... a headless ragdoll?" only to realize its a fucking baby.

Now personally I'm not filtering these tags. Because I want to be in tune with whats happening. I don't want to risk missing some important news. I want to know whats happening on both sides. So even though my friends tell me to filter the tags, I know I wont because It goes against my personal values. But at the same time, I will never fault my jewish brothers and sisters, or my american friends, or any other people for filtering tags. Because they should do whats best for them. not for some inconsiderate twat face on the internet who thinks that they have some moral high ground on them for following like sheep instead of learning the true history of the middle east. I don't feel the need to impose MY VALUES on other people, as if I have some sort of superiority over their values.

I hate the idea that palestinians are dying. I hate the idea that isrealis are dying. I hate that people are being raped. and people are being murdered. (and notice how i said people, because I mean ANYONE). But you have no right to shove this upon anyone on the internet. Fine, if you want to see it. Fine, if other people want to see it. But dont you DARE tell me what to fucking do. Because tell me, if you were at the crime scene of any murder, maybe even of someone you love. Would you enjoy it if someone forced it in your face and told you: "Don't look away. You have no right. You're here, and I'm forcing you to look."

So don't you dare act all high and mighty when this is all just some little charade of virtue signaling to you. Because I bet $100 you've never watched the Hamas bodycams. You've probably only watched palestinian deaths, because you refuse to awknolwedge the losses on both ends of this war. Hamas isn't justified in killing jews or israelis just as much as Israel isn't justified in killing innocent civilians. But in reality think about the motives of each group: one is killing to eradicate a race, and one is killing to eradicate a terrorist group. And if you think that the latter is Hamas, then there's something wrong with your brain. Because Hamas hasn't targeted a single IDF base, only civilian areas. The fact that Israeli's aren't dying is because the government actually gives a fuck to protect its own citizens. Have you ever thought that if Hamas returned the hostages and stopped bombing Israel maybe, just maybe, Israel would back off? because that's exactly what would happen. Now think about what would happen if Israel sat back and gave up. Hamas would take the opportunity to strike and wipe out the entire israeli population and then come for diaspora jews, and then for America and anywhere else. Because Hamas wants to rebuild the world in their own vision. Its in the fucking charter that they want to.

So yeah. For the second time within a week I say to you "pro-palestine" people:

Ever heard of PTSD? You know. The trauma disorder. Where people are triggered into bad mental health times by things. With many people, seeing a dead body is very triggering for this. Also. Would you walk up to a random person on the street and shove a picture of a decapitated human in their face? If the answer is yes, I implore you to reassess your mental state and your logic.

Content warning exist for a reason, babes. Thats why we use them. If you care so much about Palestine, you can certainly find it in your heart to care about someone possibly having a minor panic attack over seeing a corpse.
