For a debut novel I was impressed. Unlike other reviewers I don't think it was mis-marketed. I liked the romance because it was realistic. I'll definitely read Maxwell's next book.

I loved this!!!!!! I didn't get all the references but I got most of them. And I'm sure I got some most people my age wouldn't have!

I hated everything about this book. If this wasn't part of my library's book club I would have quit it long ago. I didn't like any of the characters. I wanted Old Man Wakem to take everything from everyone.

I've come to the conclusion that this trilogy is the equivalent to a Syfy channel original movie. Now that I understand that I'm enjoying it so much more. I like Daniel's narration to Perlman's because he pronounces Goodweather's name correctly.
