Feels like The Prisoner but really more of a reimagining of the I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream.

Super intriguing premise and interesting characters. Normal brings you to a place that's anything but. I feel like this story could have been a lot longer, because the story ended when it felt like things were just beginning.

I set this down for a long time and I think it would have benefitted from a quicker read — but it was originally serialized over four parts anyway. Ellis brings a load of great concepts to this one.
