DNF. This was 100% slang exposition and was very difficult to read.

Once I have my gushing under control, I'll write a few words about this.

A lush, Jazz-age fairy tale. This one reminded me a bit of Palimpsest, in that the world and characters were illustrated in complex, lavish detail while the plot itself felt like a rough sketch. The ending made me a little angry and a lot sad, if only because the story stopped being “about” Zelda – but maybe that was the point?
