Great question.
We do indeed ask in the rules that participants don’t post a chapter of a fic while the work is still a WIP. We prefer if you wait until the entire fic is complete before starting to post to the collection (in the past we have had people post half a fic, then abandon it and disappear into the sunset 😂).
Once the fic is done, as long as your first chapter has been added to the Wireless collection, it will be hidden as a ‘mystery work’. You can then add the further chapters using the 'add a chapter’ button. Don’t forget to hit 'post’ on each chapter or they will sit as draft chapters!

Hi Anon, thanks for the ask!
We do state in the rules that podficcers should ideally utilise a beta listener to check for audibility and/or mistakes, as it is much easier to correct any flubs at that point, rather than after posting to the collection.
Anyone can be your beta listener, e.g. a fandom friend in the community, but if you wanted to find one you might ask in the Drarry Discord server (there is a channel called the Sound Studio). Email us at hdwirelessmod@gmail.com if you need an invite to the server (or indeed if you have any further questions!), and if any of our followers would like to volunteer to be beta listeners, you can shoot us an email too.

Sorry to hear you won’t have time to participate, but that’s so generous of you to offer to volunteer as a beta reader!
The Beta Reader sign up form is HERE for anyone who wants to offer their eagle eyes to our fic writers - and you can specify your style and availability (and also what you’re not so keen to read).
We’ll hold onto the list, and then when someone needs a beta reader they can select one that suits their needs and get in touch!

Welcome! Yes, you can check if the prompt you submitted has been claimed. If you locate your prompt in the gallery, you can check the title line. It will start with the prompt number and one of the following:
The second way is to check the bottom of the gallery card where you can see if Claimed for Art or Claimed for Fic has been ticked
If you are wondering if a fic on the podfic list has been claimed, you can also check this by locating the fic in the podfic prompt gallery and checking the title line. It will say CLAIMED in capital letters right before the title.
And for anyone who’d like to claim a prompt, here’s a handy link to the Claiming form!

Hey, I was wondering if you collect a bank of beta readers once claiming starts? I'd love to start helping more as I love the fests and have never really been involved plus it's so mich fun! Starting to get to know people but yeah, if anyone claims a fic and needs someone do you have a pool of peoples? Thanks for organising (very excited by the use of airtable hahaha)

Without further ado, here are the dates for H/D Wireless 2025!
Prompting will close on Sunday, January 26th OR when we reach 300 prompts, whichever comes first.
There will be a limit of 5 prompts per person. We trust our prompters to abide by this rule, whether prompting with their name, or anonymously.
Self prompts will be allowed once claiming opens. Don’t forget to check the list of prompts as your chosen song may have been prompted already!
