A: “With each other” could also be “with one another”. It means they are together and effecting them. Each other is sometimes used when you compare two things. Does this help?

The website is using a poor design though. It is not very clear what the "1 other" indicates and it's not clear by looking whether it is part of Sandeep's reply or not.

A: some verbs (like TALK) need another word in order to be used.

They TALK TO each other, or they TALK WITH each other.
you can't say "they talk each other". that's not correct. you just have to learn it that way and use it.

the others: see, greet.. are ok on their own.

A: There's no major difference; it's mostly just subtle nuance.
"Apart from" sounds more firm and formal.
"Besides" can sometimes be used as something of an "and" or "but." Otherwise it sounds more casual and relaxed.
"Other than" is mostly neutral. I can't think of a specific scenario where I'd use it over anything else. I consider it a general use word.
