Louis isn’t much for frills, and the coffee shop he co-owns with his best friend Liam is evidence of that. Yes, it’s got a decent sized, well-kept industrial kitchen, but Louis insists that people come to coffee shops for coffee, not mediocre pastry and plastic wrapped cookies. When Liam’s campaign for serving treats turns into watching a few baking accounts on whichever popular app he’s on now, there’s one that really gets on Louis’ nerves: “I Like Your Styles.” With his chipper demeanor and over the top descriptions of the food he makes, Louis is sure that the (unfortunately cute) baker is full of it. Nothing that adorable could possibly be worth the hype.
It doesn’t actually take much for him to eat his words…and some quality baked goods, while he’s at it.
Was listening to a podcast like you do sometimes (I always do) and this is what I hear with my own two ears when they talk about if a historical person was queer or not. If there’s any truth to the rumours:
“So, if people stop talking about it, it probably wasn’t anything. But, if people keep talking about it, years after years after years…. You do the math.”
I have to reblog this again with these tags, because this is exactly how I got into the fandom. The way Harry and Louis behaved was exactly how me and my ex partner, who were both then closeted behaved. The secret touches, the secret glances, talking in codes, we did it all.
People who give very shallow critiques of larries seem to forget how widespread and rampant homophobia is, even today. Same Sex Marriage is legal only in 38 countries. Homosexuality is illegal in over 70 countries. For most of my childhood, homosexuality was illegal in my country too. And not just this; it has been documented over and over again how rampant closeting in Hollywood and the Music Industry is, even today. It has been the case for centuries.
from my sources adjacent to tumblr–from which i can spread rumors and insider information freely because i dont give a fuck about ever working in the tech sector–im hearing this round of firings was focused on purging the senior staff, and not just from support but from the entire remaining tumblr workforce. i’m hearing there are about 25 people left.

While I don’t think that Tumblr is about to shut down anytime soon, as a fandom old who lost my community and my people when the fandom diaspora happened from LiveJournal, I want to urge that you do something NOW:
Get your backup account(s) elsewhere NOW
Let your moots know your username(s) at those places NOW
Follow your moots at their places NOW
I mean this with all my heart. Get this done now. Get set up and find your people now. Tumblr is the home of fandom now, just as LiveJournal was the home of fandom way back. And you could end up losing your fandom home just as easily and quickly as us old LJ people did way back then.
It’s a horrible feeling, and most old LJ users still mourn the loss of it to this day.

hi yall! i’m currently trying to get the last bit of my car payment for march, my car insurance, and my next therapy session. in total, i will need $738 by april 1st to keep current with my car payment, pay for my car insurance, and be able to go to therapy. i’ve started doordashing (for those unaware, it’s a delivery service app) when my body allows so i can have some sort of income to help. i’m still waiting on my hearing for disability and my medicaid to kick in, and i’ve gotten my SNAP card so i’m able to buy groceries. thank you for reading and sharing. truly means a lot ♥️
