Michael Boshnack on Instagram: "The Psoas muscle is the powerhouse of your entire body. It’s the only muscle that connects the upper half with the lower half. Starting at the medial part of your femur, running through the abdominal wall and connecting to the back of your T-12 spine.

It’s the king of your entire body and the queen is the glutes. If they’re not getting along, this can create a tension fight from front to back throwing off the entire mechanism.

When sitting for long periods of time, this can shorten the Psoas muscle, contributing to poor posture and chronic pain.
