a person is making christmas decorations out of popsicle sticks and candy canes on a cutting board

I bought the chenille stems at Hobby Lobby in the Christmas section, and I bought the skewers at Dollar Tree. Each pick took 5 chenille stems. It’s so much fun to create my own Christmas decorations. 🎄 #tinascountrydoor #christmas #christmastree #christmasdecorations #diychristmas #diychristmascrafts #christmascrafts".

It’s important to scatter them through the tree and place them on the branches in a downward direction. We love to use a lot of different picks when we decorate our trees but for the purpose of this demonstration we just used one type. Hope this helps 🎄❤️.

a bunch of glittery tree picks are hanging on the wall with green and red balls

So last year, I was at my parent's house and we went to Cracker Barrel Restaurant (I seem to be mentioning this place a lot lately) but while there I saw some ADORABLE Christmas Tree Picks in their Country Store. I wanted to buy them but after further examination, I realized that I could just make them. So I went off to Michael's and bought all the supplies and then NEVER made them! So this year, I knew I just had to do it and I'm so glad I did... they are so cute! Here's the simple how-to…
