The color is of course, the thing driving this small oil painting, as well as the contrast between the deep blues and the white form, and the textures -- catching the glass-like curls of the waves with their complex reflections, as well as the chaos of the tumbling form, white with air and flung high by the wind. Surface Reflection of my Bahama Series takes on the beautiful reflection of the sun on the still Bahamian waters. This piece is done in mixed media of Prismacolor Marker, Prismacolor Colored Pencil, and Prismacolor Pastels.

There is an artist who has reimagined the superhero’s life and presented it in a more down-to-earth way.
