Emmett Dalton was captured alive (barely) at the Coffeyville, Kansas, bank raid in 1892 (two of his brothers were killed). After 14 years in prison, Dalton relocated to the Los Angeles area, made a killing in real estate and starred as himself in 1918's "Beyond the Law", based on his book.
