In this 18th c. copy of the book Kitab al-aqalim Al-saba'ah (Book of the 7 Climes) by the 13th c. scholar and alchemist, the stela is adressed schematically, with most of its text freely interpreted. Still, certain hieroglyphs are rendered precisely and others give hints of the original ones. The copy is now at the British Library (MS Add 25724 ). The stela is one of the cases showing medieval Arab scholars were interested in the Ancient Egyptian culture, despite the common notion they did not.
