In Greek mythology, Eros (Greek: Ἔρως, "Desire") was the god of love and attraction. His Roman counterpart was Cupid ("desire"). Some myths make him a primordial god, while in other myths, he is the son of Aphrodite. He was one of the winged love gods, Erotes.

Eros (Cupid) : Child of Chaos ,the shining god of love and attraction . He was depicted as a blindfolded male, who, carrying his bow and arrow, could target any human being and make them fall in love with the first person they would see. Hesiod doesn't write much about Eros except that he was , “The fairest among the deathless gods . " In later myths he was the son of Aphrodite.
