A marketplace building I designed based on the market district from the ghost king book. I really wanted to push for a big environment without having repeated stalls everywhere, so this time I decided to make a sort of central building for a small section of the market district. My thought process was that there could be "Head Merchants" who all had their own buildings and managed the surrounding stalls. Here's one of my earlier works from my time ar FZD. I'm still pretty fond of these pieces. In medieval times many monasteries were also breweries. The art of distilling was considered a type of alchemy, really. Aqua Vitae, for example, was regarded as an important alchemical component, but by modern terms it's just ethanol solution. I thought it would be fun to design a brewery with a special signature drink, made to look like liquid gold. I think it tastes like a nice grape apple cider.
