Here are two great exercises to help restore shoulder mobility and improve your posture! 

Both variations target the rhomboids and back shoulder muscles to help correct that forward shoulder roll.

Exercise 1 (Level 1): Stand tall with arms bent at 90°, elbows touching in front of you. Open your arms wide, squeezing your shoulder blades together, then bring elbows back to touch. Repeat for a great posture booster!

Exercise 2 (Level 2 - with resistance): Add a resistance band around your forearms for an added challenge! Start with arms at 90° and elbows together, open up against the band, squeezing those shoulder blades tight. Close and repeat. This version is perfect for engaging the deeper back muscles.

As you exhale, lift your arms up; as you inhale, lower them down. Make sure to keep the gap between your lower back and the wall minimal, avoiding any excessive arching. Your shoulders and the back of your head should stay in contact with the wall throughout the movement.
