A little photo diary of the way-markers of my weekend - my first in a while, with no boys in it. So a hybrid few days of work, rest and play. Slides: 1. Saturday morning. After falling asleep on Friday, with stacks of books on the bed, I actually found it soothing to wake up to find them all there, next to me 😂 2. The house needs a drastic tidy, a long overdue DIY upgrade and there is a massive mound of clean washing on the floor (that needs folding). But the pictures on the walls look ni... A little photo diary of the way-markers of my weekend - my first in a while, with no boys in it. So a hybrid few days of work, rest and play. Slides: 1. Saturday morning. Sometimes you have to remind yourself this too shall pass. Our middle is struggling to sleep in her room for no specific reason, so instead of fighting it and everyone not sleeping I made a little floor bed. If she comes in she climbs right in, the moments waking up to her chatting are some of my favorites. Maybe she needs her mom + dad close by, or maybe we need her close by. Whatever the reason it gets everyone sleep and that is the biggest win out of it all! Flexibility + Flow is OK...
